Double page Spawn vs Angela Cover by Capullo
Spawn cover. Greg Capullo interview; 10 greatest comic battles you'll never see come to life; sculptor Randy Bowen discusses bringing comic characters to life; Brutes & Babes by Bart Sears; Bob Layton interview; article on Bravura, with comments from Dan Brereton, Howard Chaykin, Steven Grant, Jonathan Peterson, Kevin Maguire, Norm Breyfogle, Walt Simonson and others; Everyone's Got Opinions by Todd McFarlane; Wizard Profile: Kurt Busiek.
The story of Angela is legendary. Created by Neil Gaiman, Todd McFarlane lost the rights to the character over a dispute over promises made for the rights of Miracleman. Gaiman won his lawsuit and sold the rights to Angela to Marvel. So this cover has a special place in comics history, when she was still a part of the Spawn universe!
